Drive and operate equipment such as log truck (with grapple), skid steers (with attachments-specifically brush mower), aerial lifts (buckets), mini skid steers, etc.
Maintaining equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventative maintenance and repair tasks such as: making adjustments, replacing minor parts, washing, and lubricating equipment.
Trimming and removing trees and brush using the above-listed equipment in a safe manner.
Ability to remove and trim trees with a bucket truck, climbing, and possibly cranes. Operate a variety of different equipment (mini loaders, grinders, chippers, log trucks, winch, etc.)
Understand how to properly remove and identify dead/excess branches from trees. Climb trees using hooks, belts, ropes, and ladders to gain access to work areas. Supervise others engaged in tree trimming and removing – the ability to teach team members.
Applicant is responsible for cleaning and inspecting equipment at end of day. Properly mix and load PHC products, before applying/injecting. Inventory products, inform office to order when needed, maintain records and turn into office.
